Arsenal 6-1 Everton

| | Yesterday, the new Premier League season kicked off. Some lost, some won but there were not any draws. Yesterday Arsnal won 6-1 at Goodison Park(Everton's ground) against highly dissapointed Everton. In the 26th minute, Denilson smashed in the first goal. In the 37th minute, new signing Vermaelin scored on his debut by a header on a free kick. Four minutes later, Gallas scored after the the ball touched his head after a free kick. After half time, Fabregas scored and in the 70th minute, he scored a long range shot! in the 89th minute, Eduardo scored after he shot from the rebound from Arshavin's shot which hit the post but Louis Saha scored after Manual Almunia made a save.

A bad day for football(soccer)

| | Early, today Sir Bobby Robson, the grandfathr of english football, died of cancer. He did not manage/play for Arsenal but Tyneside is feeling low over his death. All the fans and players loved him as a manager. He was born in 1933 so h died at the age of 76.
Below would be a timeline of his life:
1933-born in Sacriston, Durham, England.
1950-started his playing carrer at Fulham.
1956-moved to West Brom.
1957-plays for England
1962-retuns to Fulham and his international carrer ends.
1967-joins Vancouver Royals.
1968-ends playing carrer and his mangerial carrer starts at Fulham but shortly, Fulham's owners sack him!
1969-manages Ipswich.
1978-Robson's Ipswich team beats Arsenal in th FA cup final.
1982-he earned the job to be England's manager.
1990-loses in penaltys to Germany in the 1990 World up in Italy the manaes PSV.
1992-manages Sporting Libson in Portuagal with his young coach, Jose Mourinho.
1994-manages FC Porto.
1996-manages FC Barcelona in Spain.
1998-returns to PSV.
1999-manages the club he supported as a kid, Newcastle UTD.
2006-manages the Republic of Ireland.
2008-FA cup Guest of Honour ad presents the trophy to Portsmouth.
2009-at ST James' Park, Newcstle have a match to honour him but, sadly he died of cancer 5 days later.

Draw against Barnet and Adebayor to Man City

| | You may know that Arsenal have a pre-season friendly every year. You may know the Arsenal Reserves play at Barnet's ground but you may not know that they can draw against Arsenal. You may not know I was there and got Eboue's autograph. You may know about Adebayor's move to Manchester City and you may know they have a lot of money. You may know that Thomas Vermaelin made his debut against Arsenal after moving from Dutch side Ajax and you may know about Rosicky returning from a weired injury he suffered from in January 2008 against Newcastle.
I took a 2 hour journey to London then I parked at the nearby Underground station. I had tickets to the players' lounge and had lunch which tasted like school dinners. The only seat in the players' lounge was nearby a Barnet fan but we both support Essex Eagles in cricket. We saw the game outside (in the players' lounge the TVs showed Gillette Soccer Saturday). Before the game I failed to get autographs then before kick-off I went to my seat. Andrey Arshavin scored forArsenal but defender Ismail Yakubu scored the equaliser for Barnet in injury time. Nacer Barazite scored before I went to my seat the in the last second, Elliot Charles scored to make it 2-2 at the Underhill. Shortly after the match there were a lot of Arsenal fans to get autographs. I was fortunate to get Eboue's autograph.

| | The Champions League final is today. The Champions League is a tournament which good teams from Europe are in.
Who are you cheering for? Man UTD or Barca?
I am chhering for FC Barcelona despite Arsenal are not in it. COME ON BARCA!!

Good and bad news

| | Today the Championship was over. There were some ups and downs today.
The down was that Cardiff City(My favourite team) lost a playoff place to the Premiar League (The league Arsenal's in).
The up was from the Premiar Leauge which was not over but Arsenal(My other favourite team) booked a Champions Leauge place for next season but they'll probably come 4th and have to qualify but o well. I like watching Arsenal. | | | |
